Program Information
Join UCCS College of Business faculty Dr. Finnegan during Spring Break 2020 in Japan! This will be a global immersive experience in the historical and beautiful sights of Tokyo. This is a short-term trip over Spring Break week for UCCS students.

Information sessions will be held in the Dwire Hall atrium on the following dates:

September 16th from 10-11 am and 1-2 pm
October 30th from 10-11 am
November 4th from 10-11 am and 1-2 pm

Dates and Itinerary
March 22-29, 2020 (Spring Break)

This is a program that explores Tokyo and the Japanese business culture. Students will explore temples, shrines, and have the chance to meet and discuss business concepts and applications with professionals from Japan. 

March 21 - Student will depart on flights booked individually to Japan
March 22 - Arrival in Tokyo; transfer to hotel; free afternoon/evening for independent exploration
March 23 - Morning: Tour of Tokyo including visits to Imperial Palace and Sensoji temple; Afternoon: Company Visit (TBD)
March 24 - Morning: US Embassy Company Visit; Afternoon: Japanese Sport Committee Visit
March 25 - Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town; group lunch
March 26 - Morning: Coca Cola HQ Visit; Afternoon: Company Visit (TBD)
March 27 - Morning: Company Visit (TBD)
March 28 - Free Day for independent exploration
March 29 - Morning: independent exploration; Afternoon: transfer to airport for departure
Costs and Deadlines

Total Cost for Program: $3,085
WorldStrides/ISA Program Fee: $2,875
UCCS International Affairs Registration Fee & Deposit: $210

Included in the cost are the following items: Local transportation, Hotel, Some Meals, Local Guide

Not Included in the cost are the following items: International Airfare, Non-program Meals, International Health Insurance, UCCS Tuition (charged separately to your student account)

All housing accommodation is in a 3-star hotel, the Hotel Graphy Nezu. Wireless internet, hotel taxes, services charges, and applicable meal gratuities included in program cost.
Passports and Immigration

All participants need to have a valid passport to participate in this program. The passports need to be valid at least 6 months after the anticipated departure from Japan. Visas are not required for U.S. citizens, if you are not a U.S. citizen you will need obtain a visa on your own.
