Program Information
Join UCCS College of Business and German language faculty Dr. Finnegan & Andrea Brehm during Spring Break 2025 in Germany! This will be a global immersive experience based in historic Cologne. This is a short-term program that features cultural activities, factory visits, and in-country shopping research.
Course and Credit Information
Undergraduate Credit: 3 credits INTB 4613 Germany Study Abroad OR German language/culture TBD
Graduate Credit: 3 credits Course Code TBD
Students can opt to participate in the program not for credit. Priority acceptance will be given to those students seeking credit.

Cost and Payment Information
Estimated Total Program Cost: TBD
The estimated total program cost breaks down as follows:
- $150 International Affairs non-refundable Education Abroad registration fee (due December 1st, 2024)
- TBD program fee (non-refundable payment due to Cologne in 2 payments, dates TBD)
Included in the program fee are the following items:
- Hotel and ground transportation
- Meals listed on the itinerary
- Entrance fees to any sites listed on the itinerary
- Travel medical insurance
NOT included in the program cost are:
- UCCS tuition (if taken for credit)
- Additional meals
- Tipping and personal spending money
- Round trip flight to Germany (estimated at $1,200)
- Travel/trip protection insurance
**Please note that students seeking credit will be billed tuition on their UCCS account at their regular student rate for the term.**
Housing
All housing accommodations are in a 4-star hotel with breakfast provided. The hotel offers internet access, double occupancy rooms, and dining facilities.
Passports and Immigration
All participants need to have a valid passport to participate in this program. The passport needs to be valid at least 6 months after the anticipated return date to the US. Participants holding a U.S. Passport do not need a visa or additional permission for this program. Those who do not hold a U.S. Passport should check with the closest embassy or consulate for the country they hold their passport from for entry requirements.

Health and Safety
Health and safety are paramount to a successful experience studying abroad. We encourage students to research health and safety considerations of the destination they wish to travel to. The
