Program Description:

International Business Seminars

In partnership with the UCCS College of Business

International Business Seminars programs are short-term, multi-destination, and faculty-led seminars that immerse students into the business, cultural, social, and political environments of each country visited. Students earn university credit while applying the knowledge they’ve learned in the classroom to real-life, business settings. The purpose is for students to use their research and experience to determine trends, opportunities, threats, problems, issues, and implications for businesses.

IBS programs are open to all students in good standing from an accredited university as well as business/professional people. Programs range from 10 to 23 days abroad, depending upon the program, and don’t interfere with most spring and fall semester schedules.

The seminars emphasize marketing and management functions and can be taken for 3 semester units of upper-division undergraduate (INTB 4610) or graduate business credit (INTB 6990).
